Kim Tae Woo releases “Falling in Love” MV for ‘Warrior Baek Dong Soo’ OST



Singer Kim Tae Woo has just revealed the music video for his OST track, “Falling In Love“.



The song was created for the ‘Warrior Baek Dong Soo‘ soundtrack, and subsequently, the music video features clips from the popular historical drama. This gorgeous ballad acts as the drama’s main love theme, and is the brainchild of the team who created “Tears Are Falling” from the ’49 Days‘ OST.

Rainbow reveals jacket covers + track list for Japanese single, “A”

Girl group Rainbow are preparing to debut into the J-Pop industry with their hit track, “A“. On August 16th, they revealed the tracklist info and covers for their debut single through their official Japanese website.



“A” will come in three editions: Version ‘A’, Version ‘B’, and Version ‘C’. Version ‘A’ will come with a CD and DVD, while version ‘B’ will include a special photobook. Meanwhile, version ‘C’ will feature a bonus track not found in either ‘A’ or ‘B’.



Rainbow will release their Japanese single on September 14th. In the meantime, check out the track lists and covers below!

Bang Yong Guk releases BTS photos + additional clip from “I Remember” MV

After stunning music fans with an impressive duet track featuring B2ST’s Yoseob, rapper Bang Yong Guk has returned with three new photos from the set of his music video, “I Remember“.



Fans just can’t seem to get enough of this rising rookie star, as every new release has been met with widespread internet attention. The BTS pictures revealed on his official fancafe show shots of him taking part in interviews, getting styled, and smiling sweetly for the camera.





For this transformation, Bang Yong Guk went through a 5 kg weight loss, which definitely shows in his lanky frame. Fans commented, “He’s so charming when he smiles. He looks sweet yet powerful, so many charms in one”, “Such a beautiful smile”, “I love his red hair”, and “Looks like I’m not sleeping tonight!”



Due to popular request, he also released a 1:30 minute-long cut of his “I Remember” music video (the one deemed inappropriate by KBS) through his official fancafe.

2PM reveals dance version of “I’m Your Man” MV



2PM are causing a sensation in Japan thanks to their sexy ‘tie dance’ for their new song, “I’m Your Man“.



While fans got a good glimpse of it in 2PM’s original MV for the song, this newly-released dance version will definitely allow fans to grab a better look at this hot choreography.

Super Junior exceeds 100,000 in sales in two weeks & impresses with live performance



According to the Hanteo music chart, Super Junior’s fifth album ‘Mr. Simple‘ has exceeded 100,000 in sales since its release just two weeks ago.



It is currently ranked 2nd in Soribada, 4th in Melon and Bugs, and is doing well on other charts too.



The group’s undeniable visual appeal and impressive performance skills have also helped the corresponding music video to reach over 6.7 million views on YouTube.



Super Junior also won first place last week with “Mr. Simple” on M.net’s ‘M! Countdown’ and on KBS’s ‘Music Bank’ as well.



Not only that, but fans have also been quite impressed with an MR-removed rendition of their performance from MBC ‘Music Core‘.

4minute releases Japanese MV for “Heart to Heart”



4minute have finally dropped their full music video for the Japanese version of “Heart to Heart“!



Comprised of completely new scenes, these girls have dropped their storyline from the original Korean MV and added more solo shots and flashy choreography sequences.

T-ara performs “Roly-Poly in Copacabana” on Music Core



T-ara have been rocking stages right and left with their hit song, “Roly-Poly“, and it’s become so popular that they’ve extended their promotions with a new version called, “Roly-Poly in Copacabana“!



“Roly-Poly in Copacabana” was named after a popular disco club from the ’80s, and this new version fuses that disco feel with more modern sounds. The result is a catchy hit that’s perfect for the summer season. Check out their ‘Music Core‘ stage below!

Dal Shabet “Bling Bling” on Music Core comeback



Girl group Dal Shabet is back once more with a new round of promotions on MBC Music Core with their latest single, “Bling Bling“.



The six ladies of Dal Shabet have made a ‘disco girl’ transformations with a trendy style of their own called ‘new disco’. Their title track “Bling Bling” features a trendy sound with fun beats that pop in your ears. The song draws influences from the hit dance tracks of the 70s and 80s but with a special modern twist that makes your body want to get up and move.

HyunA performs “Just Follow” with Block B’s Zico on ‘Music Bank’

After being forced to halt promotions for “Bubble Pop!” last week, HyunA made a swift return to the stage with her follow-up track, “Just Follow“, on this week’s episode of ‘Music Bank‘!



The track received high praise for its strong hip-hop beat, as well as an addictive melody that highlights HyunA’s unique rapping skills. The song also features verses from rapper/songwriter Dok2, but instead of Dok2, Block B’s Zico will perform on stage with HyunA for all her shows this week. Zico has also written his very own lyrics for his featuring in the song.



HyunA has worked tirelessly to make this follow-up track her own, and as far as her performances are concerned, she will show her a fans a much more serious and charismatic side to herself, contrasting with the cute and bubbly performances she put on for her title track, “Bubble Pop”.

Seo In Guk makes his “Shake It Up” comeback on ‘Music Bank’

Singer Seo In Guk is back with a new single and he wants to “Shake It Up” with you on today’s episode of KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘.



“Shake It Up” is the work of American composer Drew Ryan Scott, who’s already worked with countless other Korean singers, including Brian Joo. Producer Hwang Se Jin, who’s known for his stunning arrangements of Jang Hye Jin’s songs on MBC’s ‘I Am a Singer‘, also contributed as the project’s head director.



With such a strong foundation of support, Seo In Guk’s “Shake It Up” will surely be the summer theme song for many years to come. Check out his fun comeback stage below!

SISTAR makes a “So Cool” comeback on M! Countdown

It’s been seven months since SISTAR last promoted, but they’re finally back with their new title song, “So Cool“, which they performed for the first time on tonight’s ‘M! Countdown‘.



As with their previous title songs, “So Cool” was produced by Brave Brothers.



It’s an energetic dance track that expresses a woman’s frustration at her emotionally unavailable lover, and so she tells him off in the verses.



Fans won’t get to see the hot ‘tail dance’ in the choreography, as Starship Entertainment decided not to show it in public broadcasts to avoid a controversy. The girls still managed to bring a great performance without it though, so check out their comeback stage which also includes “Girls Do It“.

Having revealed concept photos earlier today, the music video teaser for Bang Yong Guk’s solo debut single, “I Remember,” featuring B2ST’s Yang Yoseob has now been released!

Super Junior wins #1 on M! Countdown comeback + other performances

Mnet’s “M! Countdown” is back with another episode of great performances and musical treats.



Besides the usual stages, Super Junior, SISTAR, and Seo In Guk made their comebacks. Elsewhere, HyunA begun follow-up promotions while Japan’s Koichi Domoto had a special stage.



It was a hot battle between Super Junior, miss A, and 2NE1 for the #1 spot on “M! Countdown” today, but in the end, it was Super Junior who got their first win for “Mr. Simple“!

Just to make their victory all the more sweeter, the men were also making their comeback today. So check out their comeback stage which includes “Super Man” and “Mr. Simple”.











ZE:A, Homme, Min Kyung Hoon and Mighty Mouth had their goodbye stages.

JYP Nation to broadcast Japan concert live in theaters!



JYP Entertainment’s upcoming family tour in Japan, ‘JYP NATION in Japan 2011‘, will be broadcast live in Japanese theaters!



According to representatives, fans who can’t attend the concert at the Saitama Super Arena on August 18th will be able to watch it live in theaters. Since it features top stars like 2AM, 2PM, miss A, the Wonder Girls, Lim Jung Hee, JOO, San-E, and many other Hallyu stars, it’s an event that fans definitely won’t want to miss.



2AM, who couldn’t join the family last year, will also be introduced into the Japanese market as the ‘brother group of 2PM’.



‘JYP Nation in Japan 2011′ will be held on August 17th and 18th.

SNSD reveals MV teaser for “BAD GIRL”



SM Entertainment stunned the K-Pop world with this surprise MV teaser for SNSD’s new song, “Bad Girl“!



“Bad Girl” was originally included in SNSD’s first Japanese album, “Girls’ Generation“. The girls have been performing the song during their recent concerts and on some Japanese music programs, but this is the first confirmed sign that they’ll be promoting this song next.

United Cube artists perform “Fly So High” and individual stages on Inkigayo

Ahead of United Cube’s family concert on August 14th, Cube Entertainment artists B2ST, 4minute and G.NA gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect with an exclusive special stage performance of their family song, “Fly So High” on today’s SBS’s Inkigayo!

“Fly So High” is a collaboration track featuring the afore-mentioned twelve Cube Entertainment family members, now known as ‘U-Cube’. It’s an upbeat and addictive song that harmonizes the artists’ unique talents to create the perfect feel-good summer track.


While the song was in its production stages, the U-Cube family members were honest with one another, offering their experience and expertise to help each other refine their talents, as they worked more earnestly on this track than any of their previous projects.

This is a pretty unusual move by Cube especially as they are revealing it for the 1st time on television instead of at their concert. Regardless, the fans are certainly not complaining for sure.

Super Junior makes a “Mr. Simple” comeback on Inkigayo

Super Junior, the leading men of the Hallyu wave, have finally returned to home base on SBS’s Inkigayo to promote their fifth official album. Though their lead track may be titled, “Mr. Simple“, the unique performance they’ve put on tonight is anything but!

The group have once again rocked the stage with a powerful, energetic choreography. Since the lyrics for “Mr. Simple” express society’s loss of motivation and dreams due to their overly-complicated lifestyles, Super Junior decided to deliver flashy visuals to match their message.

2NE1 wins Inkigayo Mutizen + other performances


SBS’s Inkigayo is back once again, and this week’s show was full of amazing and fun performances from the top participating K-pop artists!

The ‘Take 7‘ nominees for this week’s show were MBLAQ (“Mona Lisa“), HyunA (“Bubble Pop!“), T-ara (“Roly-Poly“), INFINITE (“Be Mine“), miss A (“Good Bye Baby“), 2NE1 (“Ugly“) and TEEN TOP (“No More Perfume On You“). HyunA has already ended her promotions earlier this week.














We had a new winner this week as it was announced that 2NE1 had won the Mutizen award. Congratulations to 2NE1 as they completed a trophy sweep with different songs, having won on Mnet M! Countdown and KBS Music Bank earlier this week.

2NE1 reveals Minzy’s teaser for Japanese “Hate You”


Yesterday, YG Entertainment released Sandara’s teaser for 2NE1’s Japanese version of “Hate You“. Today, they’ve followed up with maknae Minzy!

Fans got a sample of Minzy’s rich vocals, and it seems that her hold on the Japanese language is sounding pretty smooth.
